Little Tokyo Historic Tour

May is Asian American Native Hawaiian Pacific Islander Heritage Month! E58 community member Jane Hong-Guzman is hosting a special half-day historic tour of Little Tokyo on May 16th—and you’re invited! This experience is open to our entire church family.

As you walk together through this meaningful neighborhood, Jane will guide you through stories that have shaped both the local and broader community. From the legacy of the Azusa Street Revival to the history of Japanese American internment camps, the tour will reflect on moments of hardship, resilience, and connection. You’ll also explore the complexities of race relations in the U.S., the beauty of solidarity across cultures, and how love within communities can offer real glimpses of justice and hope.

10 AM-1 PM: We’ll spend the morning walking through Little Tokyo together, visiting local landmarks and shops along the way.
1-2 PM: Afterward, we’ll break into smaller groups for lunch. Please bring money for your lunch.

We’d love for you to join us! If you're interested to join any part of the tour and want to get more information, please click the button below:
