Each year, the Giving Wall campaign supports the work of Treasures and our efforts to provide outreach, survivor-led mentoring, support groups, retreats, recovery curriculum, emergency relief fund, and community partnerships to women looking to find freedom and healing. A woman receiving support from Treasures shared the following,

“Several years ago we were in a difficult situation, since there was a girl in Colombia (a neighboring country) who had to leave the country urgently since she was being abused in the same place where they had “rescued”, her; we needed to get her passport, buy her airplane ticket and pay the expenses of all her income. That afternoon when they told me the total amount we needed $1,277. When I saw this amount my eyes were widely opened and I thought I have never seen that amount in my account. I prayed that night and I said to the Father “let us be an outlet for this girl, let me be a witness of your supernatural provision”. When I finished praying, I immediately got an email from Jennifer Toledo saying,, “Mela and the girls from Casa mis Sueños: We did our giving wall and we are sending $1,277 to Ecuador!” That moment, all doubts where gone and I knew how much God really cares about these girls and how much he loves to use his children anywhere in the world to “literally” rescue a girl from a small country in South America. “Our students have overcome incredible challenges. From fleeing from war, to resettling in a new community, then having their community under threat as abductions in the region have skyrocketed these last last couple of years. To have education be something that our students can rely on, somewhere safe where they can go and dream for their future and then to not have to worry about paying school fees… the impact of the Giving Wall means that our students in Justice Rising schools can receive scholarships for free education. This is Esther, growing up, she didn’t have much access to quality schools, and the one school close to her was too expensive to attend. After dreaming to go to school for years, at 11 years old, she was finally able to enroll for the first time as a Justice Rising student.
